How does an hourly rate work?

The hourly rate is based on the number of hours you book for. There is a minimum of 2 hours on most days. You can make an unlimited number of stops during the time you have booked. Hourly rates are only available for local trips. If you are looking to go a long distance a transfer rate will be required (eg trip to Whistler or Seattle). Hourly bookings that do not begin in the Lower Mainland may have a travel time charge applied.

 

What does a Point A to Point B Transfer (Flat Rates) mean?

A point to point transfer is a flat rate that is charged for a trip from one destination to another. This is also known simply as a transfer. Point to point transfers do not include any extra stops. Extra stops can be arranged for an additional charge. Transfers are not based on a specific length of time rather they are based on the distance. The benefit of a transfer rate is that there are no additional charges if there is heavy traffic since the rate is based on the pick up and drop off addresses rather than time. They work great for trips where the passengers are looking to go for dinner, to a club or be transported to Whistler in addition to any other destinations you have in mind.

 

How far in advance should I book my limousine?

We recommend booking your vehicle as soon as you are able to since limousines tend to book very early. You do not want to wait to long and not be able to secure the limo you would like. A number of our vehicles book up to a year in advance for weddings. You can always contact our office to check availability for the limo you are interested in.

 

Can I reserve a specific vehicle?

You can reserve a specific limo with a minimum 4 hour booking.

 

Can I change my pick-up time if I have already booked my limo?

We accept changes to the pick up time with a minimum of 24 hours notice by either fax or email. We also accept changes with a minimum of 2 hours by phone.

 

What if I need to cancel my booking? How far in advance should I cancel?

Cancellations are accepted by email or fax only. If you fail to cancel before the time frames detailed below you will be charged in full for the order.

  • Domestic Airport Transfers: Time Limousine requires that cancellations be received no less than 12 hours prior to pick up time if called in to the office in addition to emailing or faxing the cancellations. Round trip Orders must be cancelled as 2 separate orders.
  • International Airport Transfers (Outside Canada): Time Limousine requires that cancellations be received no less than 72 hours prior to pick up time. Round trip orders must be cancelled as 2 separate orders.
  • Hourly Charters, Point to Point transfers, Specials & Tours: Time Limousine requires that cancellations be received no less than 72 hours prior to pick up time. Limo bus deposits will be non-refundable
  • Wedding & Grad Packages: Time Limousine requires that cancellations be received no less than one month prior to pick up time & deposit will be non refundable
  • Special Events(eg New Years): Cancellations received a minimum of 14 days prior to the trip will not incur a cancellation charge. Cancellation received 7-13 days prior to the trip will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. All cancellations received fewer that 7 days prior to the trip will be charged in full. I agree to pay the entire contract price if the cancellation policy is not followed. Speciality vehicles including our stretch Rolls Royce Replica, stretch Mercedes Replica and Vintage cars have a 50% non-refundable deposit due when the booking is made

 

What is the cancellation charge if I do not cancel before the cancellation window has passed?

If you fail to cancel before the cancellation window has passed the entire balance will be charged.

 

Can my party or I leave items in the limousine or its trunk?

No belongings may be left in the limo during a transfer but can be accommodated with a vehicle that is booked hourly, on call or during a split.

 

Is music or video provided during our booking?

Our vehicles have all the latest audio and video equipment, including iPod connectivity, however, the choice of media is left to the taste of our clients

 

Are glasses and ice provided with the limousine?

Glasses and ice are provided with reservations 3 or more hours in length, unless specially requested prior to the reservation is being made.

 

What if I go to a concert/Canuck’s game and it goes into over-time?

We will give you a 30 minute grace period, after which you would be charged by quarter hour (15 minutes) increments of that vehicles current hourly rate.

 

What is the minimum amount of time I must book for?

In most cases the minimum is 2 consecutive hours. Weddings between 12pm-6pm on Saturdays are a 4 consecutive hour minimum. Graduations are a 4 hour consecutive minimum.

 

If I want to go to and from a nightclub how should I book?

The best option for nightclub transfer is typically a round trip transfer. We can pick you all up at one address and take you to a club. After the club we will pick you up and return you to one address. Another option is to book the 2 consecutive hour minimum hourly rental and we can pick up or drop off everyone individually.

 

Can I leave my luggage in the limo while I have lunch or attend an event?

No belongings including luggage may be left in the limo during a transfer but can be accommodated with a vehicle that is booked hourly, on call or during a split.

 

What if I am having such a good time I want to extend the party past the original booking?

We will gladly extend the time you have booked as long as the vehicle has no trip afterwards. Extra charges will be apply at the hourly rate.

 

Airport

What is an airport transfer?

A transfer is where you would be picked up and dropped off with no waits before, during or after the trip. During the transfer if you like make any extra stop will cost extra depending on the stop you are making. If there is a quick stop between 1-3 minutes on the route the driver takes there will be no extra charge but this must be communicated at time of booking to the office. What is airport wait time?

Airport wait time is a 45 minute grace period starting from the time the client’s flight touches down at YVR. If you have a personal problem with immigration or customs there will be an additional charge if you exceed the waiting time. The charges will be the hourly rate of the vehicle charged in 15 minute intervals. Please contact the office if you are delayed.

 

I am arriving Vancouver International Airport (YVR), where will your driver meet me?

This will depend on the type of flight you are arriving on.

What is included in your Meet & Greet Service?

Our driver will meet you at the airport with a sign with your name on it. They will then help you to the vehicle and ensure your luggage is stored safely in the limo before taking you to your destination

 

What if my flight arrives late or early?

We track all flights as long as we are provided with accurate flight details. If you are aware that your flight will be delayed please contact our office at the earliest opportunity to advise us. We offer a grace period of 45 minutes for both domestic and international or US arrivals. Our chauffeurs will wait for your flight. If the waiting time goes beyond this grace period there will be additional charges in 15 minute increments.

 

What if I do not see my chauffeur at the airport after arriving at the airport?

Please call our office right away and we will ensure you get connected with the driver.

 

Wedding

How early do I need to book a limo for my wedding?

Why do I have to book a minimum of 4 hours consecutively on Saturday?

Saturday’s are the busiest day in the limo industry so the minimum is higher to ensure we can provide the best service possible.

 

How much deposit do I need to book a limo for wedding?

There is a deposit of approx 35%-50% of the total balance due when the booking is made. This is a non-refundable deposit

 

If cancel my booking do I get my deposit back?

Due the demand for wedding limousines all deposits are non-refundable.

 

When is the remaining balance due?

Final payment is due one week before the wedding.

 

Does the limo comes with decorations?

All of our packages include basic decoration which is a ribbon and bow in the colours you choose as well as ice and water in the limo. We also offer a premier wedding package which includes complete decoration of the limo in your colours, a bottle of champagne, Red Carpet Service as well as ice and water in the limo.

 

Can I decorate the limo myself?

You can certainly decorate the limo yourself. All decorations must not damage the limo in any way.

 

What is the cancellation policy for weddings?

Graduation

Can I book a limo for 2 hours for my graduation service?

There is a 4 hour minimum booking for graduation. On rare occasions we might offer a 2 consecutive hour rental. Please contact the office for information

 

How much deposit do I need to book a limo for my graduation?

A deposit of 50% of the full amount is required to hold your booking when you book your limo

 

What is the cancellation policy for graduations?

Graduation cancellations must be received at least one month prior to the graduation. Deposits are non-refundable.

 

If cancel my booking do I get my deposit back?

All deposits are non-refundable.

 

When is the remaining balance is due?

Final payment is due one week before the graduation

 

What is a split?

A split is a unique option we offer only to graduates. When you book at least 6 hours we offer to split the time. You can use a minimum of 4 hours before your dinner/dance then use the remaining time after the dinner to transport you home or to an after-party. You can even use the limo for the after-party if you prefer. This package applies for any booking 6 hours or more and you must use a minimum of 4 hours initially.
